FOO MAY LYN

FOO MAY LYN was born and bred in Malaysia. Trained as a theatre actor and dancer at age 13. Performed till age 30-something. Stopped acting due to illness and extended theatre into art work. Left Malaysia in 1988 and lived in Europe for 25 years. Was a cleaner, waitress, performer, story-teller in London. Worked quietly on art in smoking cafés in Paris. Walked a lot and spent hours in public libraries. Also worked as a journalist and has done film, television, BBC news reading (once), and four art exhibitions.

Making jewellery, creatures and dolls to earn a living. Living in Malaysia today.
